Information that institutions publish on their profiles is visible to all platform users.

When you contact an institution through Skooly, that institution will receive your contact information.

Messaging Data (WhatsApp, Messenger & Instagram)
When institutions use our messaging features through WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger, or Instagram Direct Messages, we process the following data:
- Phone numbers or platform user IDs of contacts who interact with the institution
- Message content sent and received through our platform
- Message delivery status (sent, delivered, read)
- Institution's business profile data from connected platforms
- Media files shared in conversations (images, documents)
- Facebook and Instagram comments on institution pages and posts
This data is used exclusively to facilitate communication between educational institutions and parents/students. We do not sell or share messaging data with third parties. Each institution can only access data from their own conversations.
Our platform uses artificial intelligence (AI) to assist institutions in responding to messages. AI-generated responses are based on institution-provided knowledge (programs, schedules, pricing, etc.). Messages may be processed by AI systems to classify intent, generate responses, and improve service quality. Institutions can review and override AI responses at any time.
Messaging data is retained while the institution's account is active and is deleted within 90 days of account cancellation.
Users who interact with institutions via Facebook Messenger or Instagram can request deletion of their data at any time through their Facebook Settings (Settings > Apps and Websites > select Skooly > Remove). We also accept deletion requests via email. Upon receiving a valid request, we delete all associated conversation data and provide a confirmation code to track the request.
Our messaging services use the WhatsApp Business API, Messenger Platform, and Instagram Messaging API provided by Meta Platforms, Inc. When interacting with institutions through these platforms, your data is also subject to Meta's Privacy Policy and the respective platform's terms of service.

We implement technical and organizational security measures to protect your personal information.
